Stained Glass for Beginners
The art of Stained Glass is challenging but extremely rewarding. For this workshop, the students will learn to cut sheets of glass into shapes. Next we design a flat panel and draw it out. We select different colors of glass and cut those to the shapes in the drawings. The next step is to copper foil each piece of glass. Finally the panel is lead soldered and polished. With this workshop the students acquire the skills to make different kinds of stained glass art pieces.

What You’ll Learn
- Introduction to the different tools and equipment used in stained glass
- How to handle and cut glass
- Principles of color and design when working with art glass -instructions on copper foiling and soldering glass.
